Even though Cat was sick for about 2 hours this morning she shook it off like a champ and was committed to catching some reds and having a great day with her brother. Today we had the pleasure of running a trip for The Dogwood Lodge SWC. Bert, Mark and Jeremy had never caught redfish before so that’s what we went after. Got to the first spot and was a little slow, moved down the bayou a bit and BAM it was on. Was done by 9:30. We had our 3 man limit of red, 2 sheepshead, 2 specks and threw back 4 bulls and a ton of rat reds. Non-stop action. Give us a call and come get in on the fun and the action. Hot bite and happy crew! Had Mallory out for an early morning fall trip starting before sunrise with partly cloudy skies overhead. I have been fishing Breton Sound the last few weeks and it has not disappointed. Lots of speckeld trout and even some bonus redfish,flounder, sheepshead and black drum. Weather has been pretty good for the most part and the fish are hungry!!

Hopedale Lagoon Fishing Report on 17th Feb, 2024

We had Sam,Franklin,Will and Ward on board with us today. started the morning with some light drizzling rain and cold temperatures. These guys really wanted to go out fishing so that's exactly what we did. Got out to our first spot and right away was on fish. We got a good hour to hour and a half of fishing in. before the winds went from 0 to 25 mile an hour. Once the wins picked up, we had it deep into the marsh, picked up on a few bull reds that were caught in released. By this time, the guys said They were freezing, and we're ready to call it a day. All in all it was a great morning with a great group of guys and a decent catch.

Mississippi River-Gulf Outlet Canal Fishing Report on 1st Oct, 2023 - 1

Mr. Deldrick and his family came out for a 1/2 day Morning trip. He asked to have a great time and to catch some fish for dinner. He wanted at least one Red Fish. Well we started the morning fishing for trout and one we put about 75 in the boat we headed out to hunt for reds. Well we got to one of my honey holes and first was a sheepshead, his wifes biggest fish so far. Second cast he threw out he landed his redfish. By then Deldrick looked at me and said were good lets head back to the dock. Very fun fun group to fish with. Making Memories One Fish At A Time.

Was hired to Captain a boat for the Annual Valero Fishing Rodeo. These guys came in from Texas and have never fished our Louisana waters before. Well they did great. It was none stop fun and fish catching. They even took First and Second Place in the Bull Red divison. I also asked Capt. Jonathan with 5 Eaux fishing to cover a second boat for me for the same rodeo. His crew took home four trophies in the kids divison. Both crews were awesome to fish with and already have us booked for next years rodeo. Making Memories One Trip At A Time.

Mississippi River-Gulf Outlet Canal Fishing Report on 27th Sep, 2023 - 3

Had the pleasure of fishing with some of Baton Rouge Police Officers. They were a blast to fish with. As we were heading to our first fishing spot i told them that we have been catching two at a time and they laughed and said yeah ok. Well we got to the first spot, I hooked them up with double rigs and told them to just drop the line straight down and bounce it a couple times. There was no need to even sling the line out casting. With in seconds they were both hooked up with doubles. with in 4 hours they had 7 Specks and 140 white trout. They both laughed and said we will never doubt you again Captain...lol. One of them called me the next day to tell me his back was sore from all the fish catching. He also booked two more trips while on the phone. So looking forward to fishing with these guys again we had a blast.

Had the pleasure of fishing with this fun group of guys. It was a great time from the moment we left the dock. Lots of jokes and thrash talking and lots of fish. It took about 20 minutes for the fish to start biting but once they started it was on! These guys were so much fun to fish with.
